Mercury Prize Nomination 2017

J Hus ‘Common Sense’, Ed Sheeran ‘÷’ and Stormzy’s ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ are all shortlisted for the Mercury prize award 2017. All apart of the £25,000 cash prize.

Last year’s winner Skepta won the prize draw for his fourth studio album Konnichiwa. Making last year the third year in a row a black artist has won. Missing out on the cash prize, Dizzie Rascal, Giggs and Wiley. MIssed out on this years shortlist. 

The Awards show will take place at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on September 14th.
