Leah CK is celebrating her birthday right here on The Beat London, and you're all invited! And boy does she know how to celebrate in style.


Helping her kick off Leah CK's Birthday Beats special will living legends Kele Le Roc and Tippa Irie!

Shooting to widespread critical acclaimwith her widespread underground hit 'Let Me Know' in 1995, Kele Le Roc's soulful powerhouse vocals fast became one of the UK's signature acts of the 90's. Scoring two Top 10 hits (reaching at #8) on the UK Singles Chart with her singles 'Little Bit Of Lovin' and 'My Love', the Uk songbird went on to win two MOBO Awards; Best Newcomer and Best Single for 'My Love'.


In 1999, Kele released her only album to date 'Everybody's Somebody' on Polydor Records, whilst also racking up a string of killer collaborations including with Basement Jaxx ('Romeo' which reached #6 in the UK Chart), Coolio, Courtney Pine, T Power, Omar Lye-Fook, Damage, Lee Henry and Shy FX.



Tippa Irie



Hailing from the famous streets of Brixton, British reggae singer and DJ Tippa Irie broke out onto the scene with his hits 'It's Good To Have The Feeling You're The Best', 'Complain Neighbour' and 'Hello Dahling' which became a UK Top 40 hit.


Having collaborated with Alexander O'Neal, Long Beach Dub All Stars, The Skints, Chali 2na, Tippa also lent his vocals to The Black Eyed Peas track 'Hey Mama'.


With music still at the forefront, Tippa is embarking on his latest album 'Living The Dream', teaming up with Peter Hunnigale for the single 'Friends Will Say' and General Levy for the track 'Ebola' as well as features from Safiyah, Sun-I-Safari, Baker and his son Raph The Message.
