JME To Star As Himself In Movie About Vegans

This seems right up his street.

Grime emcee JME will be swapping the mic for a movie script it seems, after comedian Simon Amstell announced that the BBK star will be playing himself in his new movie, Carnage: Swallowing The Past.

We're dead #Serious (Get it).

The feature length satire, which is due to air on BBC iPlayer, tells the story of a fictional futuristic world set in 2067 where everyone is vegan (not that far-fetched then), where the characters soon decrover that humans barbarically ate other animals. JME who is a committed vegan himself, will star in the film alongside Martin Freeman, Joanna Lumley, Dame Eileen Atkins, Lindsay Duncan, Alex Lawther, Gemma Jones, Linda Basset, Marwan Rizwan, and John Macmillan to name a few.

Also playing themselves in BBC short will be Kirsty Wark, Lorraine Kelly, and Vanessa Feltz. Amstell, who will also narrate the film himself, is quoted as saying: "I have written and directed a film about veganism. I’m sorry."

Although the release date has been marked as spring, the ACTUAL date has yet to be released. #KeepItOnTheBeat for more details.
