Jhene Aiko and Big Sean Drop Album

Big Sean and Jhene Aiko have dropped their collaborative project and eponymous album, 'TWENTY88'. The album was released exclusively on TIDAL on Friday, but became widely available on Monday.

'TWENTY88' is not the first collaboration between the pair, who have teamed up for songs 'I Know' and 'Beware'. In an interview last year, Jhene spoke about Sean saying "He just has a very good spirit, and he has great energy. Especially now that I'm meeting more and more people, you meet the people that just give you the wrong vibes, or you can just tell they're so into themselves and it's annoying. But from the moment I met Sean - he was already famous - and he just had a great spirit, and he continues to be genuine."

The album is being described by TIDAL as "the story of the highs and lows of a relationship, with insights into conflict, memories, love, sex and more". The album has 8 tracks on it, and combines 90s R&B with 70s experimental rock and soul. Jhene and Sean recently spoke to Flaunt Magazine about the album saying "Music now doesn't really cater to the feelings of a real relationship. It's all about trapping and bragging. I feel like this project is something that's needed right now. The whole idea of the man and woman duet, especially a whole project, is just good for people to see. The duality is a perfect combination." They also admitted to having gone on a date in 2012.

K-Ci, JoJo, Da Internz, Key Wane, Detail and Tommy Brown are some of the names who worked on the album.

The duo, collective known as TWENTY88, made their live debut on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' on Thursday 31st March, and are set to release a short film the two will star in.
