Damian Marley accompanied Jay Z throughout Jamaica showing him where the sound of reggae started, and the heavy vibration Trench Town has.‘Trench town you know, my family history runs deep there..


A place where my father grow up as a young man’. Damian Marley also opens up about the importance of Trench Town.

‘This influence a lot of what we do, our whole genre is birth out of tradition out of reggae.’ If you’re not familiar with the sound of Hip Hop it has reggae to thank for the sound and what we listen to today.
