Boy, what a weekend!


A number of Hollywoods musical greats came together for the The Grammy Awards 2017, and what an ceremony it was. Here are just a few of the highlights from the prestigious awards.


Beyonce Puts On A Captivating Performance Heavily Pregnant

Despite being heavily pregnant with twins, The Queen B showed that she still knows how to put on a show, proudly showcasing her baby-bump in all it's glory in a golden floor length gown with matching headpiece. Performing hits from her award-winning album 'Lemonade', Beyonce had everyone on the edge of their seats as she balanced on the hind legs of hers during the performance, sending Twitter into a frenzy.

Adele Dedicates Best Album Of The Year Award To Beyonce

It was a teary night for Adele and Beyonce with the British singer dedicating her award solely to Beyonce who she voted to win the grammy award. The 'Hello' vocalist broke her award in two to share with the 'Lemonade' star saying "I can't possibly accept this award and I'm very humbled and I'm very grateful but the artist of my life is Beyonce. This album to me, the Lemonade album was just so monumental and so well thought out and so beautiful and soul baring.".





Chance The Rapper Wins Best Rap Performance & Best New Artist

Independent artist Chance The Rapper took home the Grammy for Best Rap Performance and Best New Artist and despite being interrupted by some overpowering background music, gave a passionate speech, shouting out his hometown Chicago and other Independent artists. His performance of 'How Great' also went down a treat on the Grammy stage.




A Tribe Called Quest Made A Massive Comeback On Stage


The hip hop pioneers performed a medley of their songs: “Award Tour,” “Movin Backwards,” and “We the People…” starting their performnce off with this message: “We like to say all around the world, all those people who are pushing people who are in power to represent them. Tonight, we represent you,” Q-tip also dedicated their performance to Malik Taylor, also known as Phife Dawg.

Of all the stars that James Corden could have bagged for his famous Carpool Karaoke: Grammy style, I don't think he expected this little one and her friend.




Bruno Mars Salutes Prince With A Special Performance

The passing of music legend Prince took the world by storm last year. But with his music FINALLY returning to streaming services over the weekend, The Grammy's roped in a number of stars to pay a musical medley of tributes to the late 'Purple Rain' artist. Among those star's was Bruno Mars who, dressed in Prince's signature purple blazor and ruffled shirt, sung 'Let's Go Crazy'.
